Pre-SFMOMA semi-light brunch/early aftie eatie fill took place at La Boulange de Fillmore in San Francisco near the historic Fillmore jazz district. Tiny little French place offering decent selection and a layman's affordability. I was starving so I got their club sandwich - avocado, lettuce, tomato, ham bacon, the regular - filling and good - maybe not $8.50 good but still good because I was starving. But smart little RaDa got the brioche french toaste with sausage - for the sausage because the french toast was top-ballin. It's not even a toast, it is a circular piece of syruppy and soggy goodness that taste like flan on the top half and french toast on the bottom half. Coupled with a small cup of fruits and a fat sausage - can't beat it - only $8 for this nice treat. Definitely worth a try if you're up in the city!
